Visualization is the critical mental component of successful images. It is this ability of the photographer to see in his/her mind’s eye the final image before making the exposure. In today’s digital age this encompasses knowing what you can do with your software tools and plug-ins. Join professional photographer Joel Wolfson as he delves into his process of visualization from seeing the final image in his mind’s eye through the tools and steps to actually achieve that creative end. Joel will show how he achieves this using Lightroom, Detail, Clarity and more as part of the visualization and actual process of creating images.

Joel’s roster of notable clients include Newsweek, Elle, Seventeen, Houghton Mifflin, and corporate clients such as Apple, AT&T, 3M, United Airlines and Pillsbury. His technical articles on digital imaging have been translated for use in more than 30 countries. Yet he is best known for his artistic images and unexpected views of everyday places around the globe.
