About Topaz Adjust
The core technology and main feature to know about in Topaz Adjust is adaptive exposure, which works to correct exposure and balance tonal values.

Working in conjunction with the regions slider, when increased, exposure is disbursed throughout the image, balancing tonalities and bringing out details that might not have been apparent before. With this powerful technology you can create high-dynamic, or HDR-like, looks. Or you can keep it simple with light adjustments for a more natural look.

Adjust is like a compact photo editing kit, containing all the tools you need to make your photo more vibrant, eye-catching and even stylized. Along with exposure, Adjust also features a variety of tools to work with from noise reduction to image sharpening to quad toning for retro effects like split-toning & cross-processing. From local adjustments such as dodging & burning, to finishing touches like vignettes, borders, quick tone and grain, transforming your original photo into a masterpiece has never been easier!

Will there be a fix coming out soon for the latest upgrade? Altho i really like the new look, the program keeps crashing on me (windows 8 and CS6)
Gary R Hook
While I’m not annoyed by the new interface, and I can handle having things rearranged on me, I do find that Adjust is crashing very often. I use it from PS CS5 and I don’t recall having the prior build crash at all, much less 1 out of 3 invocations. I think I’ll go back to 5.0 as well…
P. Kastmiler
First time I strongly object to the new interface of one of your products, I wish I had never installed the newer version Topaz Adjust. Nervous version indeed, jumps around like a ferret on drugs. Buggy as well crashes on CS6. Can I go back to the previous version, please.
J R Compton
I made almost the same exact complaint, also saying PLEASE, but instead of sending me info about re-installing the previous, much less buggy version, they sent me your comment. Like they are not ‘t even paying attention.
I agree with you, but it might take more blunt force to get our complaints into the consciousnesses of Topaz.
I’ve always liked and enjoyed using Topaz Adjust, but this version truly sucks. Somebody out there who is actually paying attention and knows how, please tell us how to reinstall the previous version.
Gerlind
Maybe this helps –
just scroll down to Monica’s question – there you’ll find the download-links for the former version.
Nevertheless – I can’t complain – surface’s looks better and clean and if you don’t like it to be to ‘busy’ – go to the menue, first entry and you can disable ‘tooltips’, ‘preset-pop-up-reviews’ etc. and just restart Adjust.
I’m running Adjust on Win 7, Photoshop CC as well Lightroom 5.6 – everything work’s fine.
Adjust is the 1st tool for editing my photos quick and (nearly always -:) perfect.

Is there a way to go back to my nice, calm interface to Topaz Adjust? I hate the nervous new one, where something new jumps up every time I move the mouse.
I loved the old way, and I despise the new one. Now that I’ve seen it, can I please go back to my ever-so-useful and calm OLD interface?
Pretty please?
Jim
I absolutely love Topaz Adjust and the suite of Topaz products. They provide a fantastically easy interface to bring out the best in pictures with the least amount of effort. I regularly use Adjust, Detail and Remask in normal processing. I use all of the other Topaz products as my specific requirements demand.

Hello Darcy –
I’m using the German version Topaz Adjust 5.01 as well as Topaz B&W Effects – both registered by the Franzis Company in Munich.
(Windows 7 64bit and Photoshop CC 2014)
Can I use the new update as well?
Thank you very much –
Gerlind
Darcy Wheeler
Hi Gerlind – Unfortunately the German version of the program has not been updated. However, you are welcome to download the English version of 5.1 from our downloads page and your license key should work with that version (no purchase necessary).
Let me know if you have any other questions. -Darcy
Gerlind
Hi Darcy –
thank you so much for your support – yes it works and I can now use the great presets without any problems as well.
Best wishes
Gerlind

I just got an email that said: “Topaz Adjust Minor Upgrade. A free upgrade for existing users, find out what’s new in Topaz Adjust 5.1.” It linked to this page. I can’t see where it says what’s new in Topaz Adjust 5.1. Should the link have taken me to a different page?
Darcy Wheeler
Sorry about that…the way the article was organized had the upgrade info and what’s new in the 3rd paragraph. I went ahead and moved it to the first paragraph to better clarify.
New features in Adjust include an updated user interface and an added grid view mode.

I have been working with the new version of Adjust and I find it very easy to use. This version works very well with PaintShop Pro X6, Photoshop CC and CC 2014. It has many great features including HDR that allow you the ability to be even more creative. It is just another example of how the folks at Topaz are always looking to improve their already fine products. I highly recommend it!
Monica

I am confused between Topaz Fusion Express2 and Topaz Adjust. I cannot download Fushion express2, is this no longer available? Should I just download Topaz Adjust and if so how the heck do I do it! My imac running Light Room 3 will not install it. Can I get any help by leaving this comment? Or shall I contact customer support if you offer it? I would really like to get this App!
Thank you!

The Fusion Express download is actually somewhat hidden on the downloads page. See this article to find where it’s at: https://support.topazlabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/202375978-How-do-I-download-Fusion-Express-
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
