You might be asking yourself, how can DeNoise help my photography? Well, noise is related to your camera’s ISO and sensor. A high ISO makes your camera more sensitive to light and therefore more susceptible to acquiring a higher amount of noise.

So if you’re into night photography or indoor lighting sans flash, you might run into the problem of noticeable noise because the ISO must be increased to higher levels to maintain a sharper, in focus image.

Although noise is not necessarily a bad thing, it can be a distraction at times. DeNoise helps to clear away unwanted noise in areas that should be naturally smooth, skies and buildings for example.

If noticeable noise is not removed in the beginning of the editing process, the noise condition will only worsen in the image if additional photo edits are made to it. Therefore DeNoise is a very useful tool to have, so be sure to take advantage of this 50% off discount while it lasts! If you’re unsure about purchasing, you may download a free 30 day trial here.

How to Upgrade to DeNoise 5.1

Our development team has been working hard to bring you version 5.1 of Topaz DeNoise, which includes a new and polished user interface. If you already own DeNoise then this is a free upgrade.  All you need to do is download the software from our downloads page; we advise that you are exited out of all open host editors (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom) before starting the installation process to ensure a complete upgrade. After installation is complete, version 5.1 will override 5.0, so if you have any saved presets make sure to export those beforehand.
